Welcome to the public community for the Sustainable Digital Architecture Framework (SDAF).
SDAF is an open, evidence-based framework for integrating sustainability into the design, evaluation, governance and assurance of digital systems. It provides a common architecture for turning environmental evidence into defensible architectural decisions across a five-phase lifecycle: Orient, Baseline, Evaluate, Architect and Assure.
SDAF Version 1.0 is now published and permanently available through Zenodo:
The Zenodo record is the authoritative source for the fixed v1.0 framework. This GitHub repository is the living public workspace for discussion, implementation guidance, pilots, templates, mappings, worked examples and proposals for future versions.

A few important principles
SDAF is shared openly under CC BY 4.0 so that it can be used, tested, adapted and improved.
Repository activity does not silently amend the published v1.0 release. Material changes will be reviewed transparently, recorded in the change log and incorporated through an explicitly identified future release where appropriate.
Permission to reuse or adapt SDAF does not by itself establish conformity. Public conformance claims should identify their scope, the SDAF version used, applicable requirements, exclusions or conditions, and the documented basis for the claim.
Participation in this community does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, certification or official status for any participant or organization.
