README.md badge installer links not working

Describe the bug
Badge links for the installers on the readme do not work. This is because the installers are not available for a minor version release. It seems that these were automatically changed from github actions so likely we have to change this behaviour. Can revert manually for now.

mm, yeah that does seem to be the case. We actually don't create installers anymore, so we should probably just fix the badges to the last installers created, and update the release script to ignore the installers section in the README.
