develop validation points for geoprocess and implement WGS84 and UTM conversion capability.
The existing test points are decades old and have poor data custody.
- Validate existing points and create/add new points - These should have both negative and positive
xFRF values. Preferably yFRF values as well.
- ensure that a pipeline exists for NAD83 and WGS84 geographic coordinate reference frame as well as north carolina Stateplane_m, UTM, and FRF coordinates. NAD83, WGS84 geographic and UTM should be generic to non-FRF local locations. (i.e. could be used in expeditionary locations).
- Explore vertical conversions as part of this. e.g. NAD83-NAVD_m and WGS84_msl_m
- ensure that variables have units after variable name (e.g.
xFRF_m, Lon_NAD83_deg, etc.)
- explore returning a data class rather than a dictionary
- employ automated testing for these enhancements
