Question @jakubklimek : are 1..n and 1..* equivalent? I have seen them both being used consistently in various profiles, but sometimes mixed as well, and was wondering whether this was an editorial beauty mistake or whether it had semantic meaning.

The meaning of cardinality from one to many (i.e. Chen or UML) can be represented by both because the lower bound is one and the upper bound is 'unbounded'. In some special notations, 'n' can mean a specific upper limit, e.g. 5 (1..5).
However, I have never seen this in DCAT, so '1..n' and '1..*' should both mean '1 to unbounded', making them equivalent.

I generally prefer n to * for the simple reason that searching for * often is more difficult that for n.

Indeed the semantics are the same. So it is more a stylistic improvement.
