standard citation for WecOptTool usage #172
Description
It would be good to have a single standard citation for WecOptTool. While you can use zenodo to generate badges and DOIs for each tagged release, I prefer to have some mechanism that will collate all citations to a single location. Previously, I've just made a www bibtex key: http://wec-sim.github.io/WDRT/publications.html#citation, and maybe something like this is the best solution.
It is a bit more work, but I'm also still interested in a SoftwareX paper, as they claim to do a good job at handling versions and collating citations, etc. Looking at the template, this may not actually be too hard: SoftwareX_article_template.pdf
