In the TCG, card effects first activate in the order that they were triggered.[1]
Example 3: The Turn Player Tributes "Sangan" for the Tribute Summon of "Zaborg the Thunder Monarch". Both effects activate at the same time. However, the Tribute of "Sangan" occurred before the Summon of "Zaborg the Thunder Monarch", so the effect of "Sangan" must be Chain Link 1 and the effect of "Zaborg" must be Chain Link 2.
Right now, the closest method to replicating the TCG chain order is by enabling the Auto Chain Order setting. However, as everyone is aware, this prevents players from using the SEGOC mechanic where it should apply, such as a scenario where multiple Burning Abyss cards are sent to the graveyard. Can anyone from the FH team provide suggestions for how the core files could be changed to follow the TCG's chain order rule? @salix5 @VanillaSalt @DailyShana @Fluorohydride @IceYGO @Tianchenglipu
