Fails to take backup of 2048

When I try to take a backup of 2048 it turns red. I have never been able to do a successful backup of 2048, not even on my old phone. No active 2048 game. Taking backups of other apps like Sudoku works fine.

Backup app version: 1.3.3.

Where did you download the 2048 app and the backup app? Which version of 2048 are you using?
