plugins.allow is empty after install

Getting this error after I installed the plugin

plugins.allow is empty; discovered non-bundled plugins may auto-load: meshtastic (/home/pi/.openclaw/extensions/meshtastic/index.ts). Set plugins.allow to explicit trusted ids.

I set trusted Id's in the setup??

Hi! This is actually a warning from the OpenClaw core, not an error — your plugin is loaded and working normally.

The "trusted IDs" you set during openclaw onboard are the DM allowlist (allowFrom) — that controls which Meshtastic nodes can message your bot. That's a different thing from plugins.allow, which is an OpenClaw core setting that controls which plugins are explicitly trusted to load.

When plugins.allow is empty, OpenClaw auto-loads all discovered plugins and prints this warning as a security reminder. To silence it, run:

openclaw config edit

Then add:

plugins:
  allow:
    - meshtastic

This explicitly trusts the meshtastic plugin. But again — even without this, the plugin is working fine. The warning is just telling you that you haven't locked down which plugins are allowed to load.
