Separate Collections for Different Import Folders (e.g. Anime / Hentai)

• This change to the feature is not related to allowing Shoko to download anime episodes or rip them from streaming sites.

Current Feature

Currently I am using multiple import folders (one folder for Anime another folder for Hentai)

ShokoServer supports multiple import folders, and content from all folders is imported and indexed correctly.
In the Collection section, all imported content is merged into a single view, regardless of the source import folder.

There is no built-in way to separate or group Collections based on import folders.

Filtering by tags (for example, the Sex tag) is available, but:
filters cannot be saved as persistent Collections or presets
there is no option to create an inverse filter (e.g. “does not contain Sex”)

As a result, long-term separation of different content types (such as Anime and Hentai) is not possible using Collections alone.

Feature Changes

It would be very useful to have the ability to create separate Collections based on import folders, or assign an import folder (or tag) as a collection/category, or filter Collections by source folder

1. The filtering system in the server is a lot more powerful then what you can currently do in the Web UI. Selectors for import folder name and ID already exists, but there is no way to use any raw selectors in the current implementation of the filtering in the web UI. Additionally, if you wanted to filter based on the raw file paths for each series the you could do that too.

2. You can inverse a filter simply by selecting it and inversing the matched conditon. As a side note, all H will have the R18 tag shown in the image below.

3. The server can already save and persist the filters, but it is not currently possible to do it through the Web UI. Only through the legacy filtering system in Shoko Desktop (which only have access to a limited sub-set of the filtering conditions, not including the newer import folder selectors), or directly through the APIv3.

4. The ability to have a default filter set per user is planned, but not added to the web UI yet.
