OpenAI can now use websearch in its queries. Need to look ad adding this to the normal question mode triggers

How the model should select which tool (or tools) to use when generating a response. See the tools parameter to see how to specify which tools the model can call.

Controls which (if any) tool is called by the model.

auto means the model can pick between generating a message or calling one or more tools.

Currently we are using the chat Completion API ( https://platform.openai.com/docs/api-reference/chat ).

The bot originally used the responses API but I switched it over to the chat completion one as it was more appropriate and suggested one to use at the time.

Not sure if I can just add tools to the chat completion API but I think it needs to be switched over.

It doesn't look like too much of a change needed, Just need to get my current stuff out the way (with the recent broken uploads for new users I'm going to be running through testing each extension out and tweaking stuff for a few days) . I'll add my notes below just in case you wanted to try an hack some code together while waiting for me to get round to it :D

Some notes for when I get to look at it.

1. Update the npm package to the latest version (might/might not be needed to get new API features but probably worth doing anyway if I'm doing updates in there and testing it)

2. Change API being called
   Something like
   const response = await localConfig.OpenAPIHandle.createChatCompletion(
   to something like (need to check naming in the code)
   const response = await localConfig.OpenAPIHandle.CreateCompletionResponse(

3. check parameters being passed/received
   rename "message" -> "model"
   rename "choices" response -> "output"
   add new parameter
   tools: [ { type: "web_search_preview" } ], to be read from user config in dialog/action

4. add option to settings pages and server Config to select a 'tool' option

• web_search_preview
• computer_use_preview

Might only need step 2 and 3 for testing which would be fairly quick/simple to try out.
