Current main now has rule builder merged (as of writing this issue on Feb 25/26) which will likely make the rules much easier to write. This is likely to be part 3(?) of the refactor on the rules. I'm not entirely sure yet when/how I want to do it, but starting the discussion for development is a good idea.
