Are you planning for a Home Assistant Add-on for the server

Are your planning to make a HA Add-on fir de webserver. I am using this now with the original version but love to try your version.

Hey Mike, does the original version of the Server work as a HA Addon? I don't think it does, or does it?

Unfortunately the switch over from a Docker Container to the special Home Assistant container format is something that is not too straightforward. I don't have enough experience in that space to pull it off sorry.

Yes if you go to Settings --> Apps and search for Remote WebView Server you can install the server side and no need for a separate docker installation.

That's awesome that you can add this app as an Addon like that, wow, Strange-v has set up a bunch of really cool things on this project already!

I had a look at how Strange-v did this, I understand it now, but unfortunately it will take me a bit of time and effort to figure out how to compile the Docker image like he has and make it work as a HA Addon.

I think the best thing here is maybe waiting for Strange-v to get back to us on his repo for this project and see if he's happy with me raising a pull request to bring in the keyboard code to the main project. After that he can run the automatic workflow on his project that can create the correct image and files for the HA Addon.

If he sees an issue with the way I did the keyboard, then I rather he has the chance to provide that feedback before I go messing with the HA Addon side of things.

Let's give it a couple of weeks and see if he gets back to us, if he doesn't, then I'll dig deeper and make the HA Addon at that point.
