Describe your issue
I have a dual monitor setup, that being my laptop and my 144hz monitor. With the compositor turned on, it prioritizes 60hz from my laptop monitor and will not show 144hz on my other monitor. It will only run at 144hz when I disable my laptop monitor. Disabling the compositor and logging out fixes this issue, but will cause the desktop to act weirdly.
Steps to reproduce
- Make sure the compositor is turned on
- Have a lower refresh rate monitor ready and your higher refresh rate monitor ready
- Plug in the higher refresh rate monitor
What did you expect?
My 144hz monitor to display with 144hz and 60hz monitor to display with 60hz
Additional context
This seems to be an X11 specific thing as ive searched from other places but its worth a try making this bug report
