Touchpad toggle shortcut doesn't work

When pressing the touchpad toggle shortcut, it doesn't work. Only disabling it manually in plasma settings works.

Steps to reproduce

1. Press the desired touchpad toggle button

What did you expect?

The touchpad to toggle properly

Additional context

This also happens on the current version of KDE, not just SonicDE.
Running under XLibre in Artix Linux.
