Cant start the mod, suffocating does nothing it just kills me

I got everything i need, all the mods and everything.

When i joined the server i made, i see the text in chat saying i need to suffocate but it does nothing just kills me completely...

The camera effect is there, the flashlight as well.

Other than flashlight i cant use comands such as /skinwalker /release /backroomsevent or anything really...

What do i do?

Same issue. I can suffocate myself just fine in single player, but doesn't work with my server.

The reason is because you don't have the mod installed on you server. If you don't have 5he mods all installed on the server the server won't know how the generate the backrooms or really that it should do anything when you're suffocating, only your client does but your client doesn't generate the backrooms. You going to have to start a fabric modded server on 1.20.1. Can't be a paper or other plug-in server. That also means you have to install all dependencies on your server. And open a separate port for voice chat if you want that.

That is also the reason why you can't use any of the commands because your server does not have the mod installed on it so it doesn't know about those commands.

You can use the flashlight because that is completely your client though.

Oh and it can't be a vanilla server either.
