[BUG]: Image files added to blogs in markdown syntax are not rendering

Bug Description

Notice that images added with the markdown syntax fail to render even when the path is correctly specified.

For the migrated articles, I've had to use the "figure" HTML element, which is functional for now. Therefore, I'm opening this to ask for an investigation into the markdown renderer.
