Scheduled Reports

Get regular summaries of your drive health delivered to your inbox. This feature would generate automated reports (daily/weekly/monthly) showing drive status, temperature trends, SMART alerts, and degradation over the reporting period. Could also support PDF exports for documentation/audit purposes.

Looking for feedback on:

∙ What metrics are most important in a summary report?
∙ Email, webhook, or both?
∙ Should this use the existing notification system or be separate?

This has been implemented and is available starting with v1.28.0.

The scheduled reports feature includes:

• Three scheduling modes: Daily, weekly (configurable day), and monthly (configurable day)
• Multiple output formats: Plain text, HTML (for email), and PDF (saved to disk)
• Configurable via Settings UI: Enable/disable each schedule, set times, and configure PDF output path
• On-demand generation: Available via API at /api/reports/generate
• Report history: Browse generated PDFs via /api/reports/history
• Notification integration: Reports are sent through the existing notification system (Slack, Discord, email, etc.)

Configuration is available in the Settings dialog under "Scheduled Reports" or via the Settings API.
