Describe the bug

it seems copy & paste dont work with this version of stremio-shell, not sure if its an issue on other DEs as I have been just using on KDE (openSUSE, fedora-kinoite and currently KDE-Linux)

(it never worked when I tested this version of stremio-shell I just forgot to report it)

Just as a heads up, this is only present on KDE for me. Copy-paste works in GNOME.

Same issue here on flatpak: 1.0.0-beta.12 with the following setup:

Fedora Linux 42 (KDE Plasma Desktop Edition) with AMD GPU.
DE: KDE Plasma 6.5.4
WM: KWin (Wayland)

I'm also on Fedora 42 but with COSMIC and it's also reproducible.

The clipboard does not work correctly with v1.0.0-beta.12
on most wayland compositors.

I suspect the CEF dependency might be causing the issue.

One workaround would be to to remove the wayland socket
forcing the app to run in xwayland if it is available.

You can try it with:
flatpak run --nosocket=wayland com.stremio.Stremio.Devel
If it works for you, you can make it persist using override:
flatpak override --user --nosocket=wayland com.stremio.Stremio.Devel
