Linux version not accepting any arguments

Recently built desmume using meson with the following build settings, making sure to set the build option of gdb stub to true.

After installing with ninja I can run desmume without arguments just fine but whenever I append an argument it calls it an unknown option followed by a GLib error:

Not sure if this behaviour has to do with build settings or compatibility with my system (latest version of Ubuntu), any help appreciated.

The patch in #416 should fix this by parsing all options before starting the gtk application and telling gtk to ignore the options.
