Can you add the program to fedora distros?

Hi, i'm a Fedora linux user, and i own a Ajazz AK820 MAX HE, and i was searching a solution for my keyboard driver, i already do a dual-boot with windows, but i wanted the ajazz driver here on fedora linux, so, can you add an install for fedora's distro??(Sorry for my bad english, i'm a 14y old from italy)

Hi, this project seems to be unmaintained at the moment.
If you want to use this software, you will need to manually build it yourself.

Dependencies:

dnf install -y cmake ninja-build gcc-c++ pkgconf-pkg-config \
glfw-devel mesa-libGL-devel gtk3-devel hidapi-devel libusb1-devel

Clone the repo on your machine:

git clone https://github.com/TaxMachine/ajazz-keyboard-software-linux
cd ajazz-keyboard-software-linux

Build the executable file:

cmake -S . -B build -G Ninja -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release
cmake --build build -j

This will create the build directory containing the executable.

Before running the program, since you are on Fedora, you will need to allow it to access the USB device without root privileges, byusing UDEV rules:

# Allow user access to libusb backend
sudo tee /etc/udev/rules.d/60-ak820.rules >/dev/null <<'EOF'
# Microdia AK820 - ID 0c45:8009

SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTR{idVendor}=="0c45", ATTR{idProduct}=="8009", MODE="0660", TAG+="uaccess"
EOF

# Update rules
sudo udevadm control --reload
sudo udevadm trigger

# (Unplug - Replug the keyboard to apply changes)

At this point, you should be able to run the executable:

./build/ak820proLED
