SetChild with booktabs

Is there a way of using \hline with SetChild? For instance

\hline
\SetChild{class=place}

doesn't appear possible at the moment, as \hline 'hides' the SetChild. The manual gives workarounds for \[] and \* using \SetRow, but, for instance

\hrule\SetRow{belowsep=-10pt}\\
\SetChild{class=place}A&B&C&D\\

ignores the -10pt.

Edit: update as I first encountered this with toprule from booktabs, but it's not specific to booktabs.

You could and should always put \SetChild at the beginning:

\SetChild{class=place}
\hline

or

\SetChild{class=place}
\toprule

I'm editing a book with tables, and have declared a NewDocumentEnvironment like so:

\usepackage{tabularray}

    \NewDocumentEnvironment{Table}{
		m%					% #1 Table title

		\begin{tblr}{
			colspec={X},
			cell{place}={cmd=\underline}

	\SetChild{class=place}A&B&\SetChild{class=place}C\\

in which #1 (TableTitle) and #2 (body) can have places identified (\SetChild{class=place}) that should be underlined. Note: only the 'C' is underlined, that for 'A' is lost.

PS: it is better to use in a MWE article instead of standalone since the latter may cause other problems.
