Specify the legal status and structure of the projects listed #208

Description

@UrbeDelenda

Some of the projects listed on the website are owned by for-profit corporations, other are informal communities. People volunteering their time might assume all the projects listed on t4p are non-profit or loose groups of people, but this is not always the case.

I suggest to add some details to every project listed on the website:

  • Specify if the project is run by a registered for-profit entity, non-profit or if it's a loose community
  • Specify the legal status of the material produced by the project (open/closed source, licensing, etc)
  • Clarify if the project accepts or receive any funds, who manages them and what they are used for

I think it's very important to provide to aspiring contributors as much info a possible about the projects listed on the website. To avoid misunderstandings and remove the chance of future exploitation of volunteer work, so we can take a better informed decision when volunteering our time.
