To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Log into an account with blog author perms
- Start editing a blog
- Turn on dark mode
- Write some white text
- Turn on light mode

Anyways the blog colours are deleted when a blog is viewed: all text defaults the automatic colour (black in light mode, white in dark mode). Because of that, it would be best to disable colour editing altogether.
