Misplaced pointer when measuring

I am taking a measure of a length or area. When moving the mouse with the measurment tool enabled, the circle under the pointer is misplaced. It gets in the correct position if the mouse is still.

It looks like the pointer is shifted by the distance between the viewer corner and the page corner:
