I have installed MixiD and it's running with my iD44.
I'm happy to provide any testing info needed.
The iD44 USB ID is 0x0005, as is already known.
I'm using Ubuntu Studio 24.04, KDE desktop. Running Pipewire.
It looks good and seems to be mostly working.
I have a stored standalone state saved in the iD44, which it defaults to, but I'm not sure how this affects connecting with pipewire. This standalone state has Mic 1 and 2 as stereo pair, panned left and right. I'm not sure if MixiD is able to override the standalone state to a new current config? The left/right panning of Mic 1 and 2 seems to still be active as per the standalone state. Same for the left/right panning of mic 3 and 4.
There's live monitoring happening and I can't tell which channels are doing what.
The channel faders don't seem to affect live monitoring levels.
Does MixiD have panning per channel in the development pipeline?
I use the iD44 with Reaper in ALSA mode, which is ideal I think for performance. I don't think i can use MixiD for that use case.
