Device: Audient iD22
Operating System: linux mint
Expansion Hardware: beringer ada 8200
Description of the Issue:
When additional hardware is connected to the Audient iD22 via the ADAT optical input, the expanded channels are not mapped correctly within the application. Specifically, the additional inputs and outputs introduced by the ADAT expander do not follow the expected sequential channel order.
For example, the first additional input channel from the expander does not appear as Channel 3 within the application, as would be expected after the iD22's two onboard channels. Instead, the channels appear in an incorrect or inconsistent order, making it impossible to reliably assign and route signals from the expansion hardware.
This issue makes it impractical to use the ADAT expansion hardware in any session that relies on consistent and predictable channel mapping, as inputs and outputs cannot be trusted to correspond to their expected positions within the application.
Request:
Please investigate the channe mapping logic so that ADAT-expanded channels are assigned sequentially following the onboard channels.
