Do send/returns have any digital control?

Since my iD 14 MKII does not have any send/returns. I can't verify if they have any digital control.
Can someone verify for me on an Audient iD interface that does in the iD software?

On the iD48 there is both a send/insert option and a ADC direct option as shown in the screenshot

Ah i would assume something like that exists!
Would need a wireshark session in order to further figure out the proper calls

Will the session work in a vm with usb passthrough?

It does! it is even preferred since it can provide a bit cleaner information.
This would be Wireshark on host (don't forget to modprobe usbmon), and then running the software in the VM.
Because the pass-through still goes through the host's usb bus, you can receive all the information there!
If you do, please just go through settings linearly (so Channel 1: option 1, 2, 3, Channel 2: same etc) and please make a list of which actions were done in which order!

If you can also capture other functionality that has not been implemented yet, that would help a lot!
(Would be interesting to see the routing panel, since that seems mostly the same between the lower end iD interfaces at least)

It will have to wait a bit, probably till the weekend as I am quite busy, I will go through it this weekend, Ill also add a screen recording of the processes along with notes and screenshots of the different routing panel tabs. The output routing confuses me a bit because there seem to be 4 or so unaccounted for outputs from the spec sheet on the website.

There are also a few channels that show up in alsamixer in the terminal that might be useful so i will put them here

There is a channel to select the clock source in alsa as well as a channel labeled phase inverter control

I am familiar with the alsa calls, they are calls that happen to be fitting into the default class compliant driver functionality. Since that might not be what the official is doing, I want to just keep focus on using actual wireshark data from the iD client.
Happy to implement whatever you can find! As long as it is well documented what each call does (order etc)
