How Long does list stay in register?

Is there a certain amount of time the files i put in harpoon stay there? Seems like they disappear after some time.

If i exit nvim and go back my files are there if i exit and leave machine for a while they are gone when i come back. Just tying to see if there is a set time for it to clear itself. If there is a config option to decide how long the files stay or if it is a config error on my part.
