3pillars demo - google auth is not working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. go to http://labs.3pillarglobal.com/socialauthdemo/registration.do
2. Click gmail auth


What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: user logs in.
Actual: Google shows error page "OpenID 2.0 for Google Accounts has gone away"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Apparently, this is on 4.7

Please provide any additional information below.
