Changing new rows for apps to new columns and scroll through them

Any way to add new programs to new colums instead of new rows?
I have slightly edited some of the program, to make the sliders vertical and remove the status indicator, but I can't seem to figure out how to grid the programs into columns and not rows.
Also there is no way to scroll through sessions.
