AliveGR, version 3.0.0 is about to come out

It is now time after 10 years of development and a three years hiatus to get it out in due time.

• On the surface its a simple change, mostly removing least-used features and things that broke almost every few days (gamato kids)
• Then its the maintainability of it. Previous versions had a lot of "spaghetti" code, complexity, python 2 compatibility statements and wrappers etc.
• Lots of options were never been tweaked and most just stayed using the defaults or maybe users just couldn't understand what they even do, despite having help text (Matrix 19+).

Checklist:

• Finalise AliveGR itself, initially with an alpha*, but stable and fully usable release version
• Finalise Tulip Library collection. Lots of breaking changes for existing (now dormant) addons (Ant1 Player, Star Player etc)
• Networking, dom parsers, fuzzywuzzy search, m3u8, scrapetube, function cache, all split into separate modules as dependencies
• New artwork theme is now included and is being made the default one
• Update PluginsGR (external ResolveURL plugins) for the lots of changes that happened in official sources.

Live channels in the 3.0.0+ version will have the "BUP" and alternative streams removed and in their place an automatic choice of the working stream will be put.

got past the dependency on script.module.m3u8 error. Now, when I run aliveGR it just says check the log

I don't get that error, but mine is a fresh Kodi install. There is still an issue with TV series playback though. I don't know if this issue is resolved yet by @Twilight0 .

Yes, something about script.module.m3u8 version 6.0.0 could not be satisfied....beyond my pay grade.

Alpha cyprus works for new website structure, origin still has the old one, that's why they do not play.

@Sean-Thornton It is true that 3.0.0 alpha versions are still rough around the edges. Eventually everything will be fixed. In regards to Ant1 it probably requires custom headers.
