Hello all!
25ns running should be upcoming, as mentioned in the meeting and Yasu's follow-up post, I will find some MC samples for both Powheg and Sherpa to compare their balancing. I will post those MC sets in a following comment. So, milestones are:
- Find 25ns Powheg and Sherpa generators -- will be posted in next comment
- Start skimming xAODs on the grid (skim primary if DxAODs not available yet)
- Remake MC validation plots with 25ns MC, compare with 50ns analysis to see if we have any unexpected behavior.
I think when we skim the 25ns data, we can reevaluate some things we left out of the first pass, i.e. I know we left a muon efficiency factor out, that Marco added into HelpTreeBase a few days ago, so we can implement that (and make sure our code still works with the updated version of xAH). Also, if we don't find DxAODs, we may have time to run on the primary xAODs and include the trackjets that Gabriel mentioned for the calibration validation with a Z+trackjets balance.
Best,
Brian
