Summary
Strengthen result-quality scoring with better locality matching and richer seller-quality signals.
Why
Current locality logic is still fairly coarse, and seller-threshold logic is only partially meaningful with the data currently mapped from eBay.
Scope
- improve local-vs-remote comparison beyond current city/state/country checks where data supports it
- add stronger negative seller-quality signals from available eBay fields
- revisit ranking boosts and penalties for seller quality and locality
- keep explanations visible in popup watchouts/highlights
- avoid backend assumptions; stay frontend-only
Acceptance criteria
- ranking uses clearer seller-quality and locality signals
- suspicious seller/location mismatches are easier to detect in the UI
- scoring changes remain explainable in result summaries or flags
