Tardis console room disappearing act

Issue description

Upon server restart the console room is replaced with fools stone, additionally logging out in the Tardis's dimension results in logging back in at the same coordinates in the overworld. Shell reads as being located at 0,0,0 when console is re-created using an astral manipulator or the /fill command. all data for the console appears to be erased, including upgrades, and waypoints.

Steps to reproduce

1. Load up world
2. obtain root, grow, terraform etc
3. reboot server

just found out that this affects tardises that are not fully created as well, so it is possible to skip the terraforming/etc step for purposes of testing

Hi, I don't know if I'm going to be much help, but I have a few questions since I have a background in running Minecraft servers.

1. There was a discussion in the Tardis Refined Discord server about a type of Minecraft server loader called 'Arclight' (which I had never heard of before that day) which allows servers to load both plugins and mods. If I recall, someone was using Arclight and, upon restarting their server, their Tardis was completely corrupted or deleted due to the Arclight loader. The reason I bring this up is because the file you attached says your server is running an Arclight snapshot as the server loader, which could be the reason this is happening. Arclight seems to do some strange things when saving dimensions and data, so it could be the fault. I recommend using the plain Forge, Neoforge, or Fabric server loaders as they have a history of being significantly more stable and then seeing if that fixes the issue.

2. Not sure if you are self-hosting or using a third party, but how do you typically stop your server? I noticed that the log attached abruptly cuts off at the end, which usually indicates the server has been forcefully closed (example, clicking the 'X' button on the top right of the program window or using Task manager to terminate the process.) It is generally recommended to use the /stop command when closing a server to prevent data loss as the server should then send a few logs before closing that it has successfully saved every individual dimension, like the overworld, nether, and all Tardis Refined interiors. Closing the server without the /stop command can mean that it does not save dimension data properly.

3. I don't know if you have done testing on the server with only Tardis Refined installed, but I thought I would bring up that there's another mod called JSG which seems to be creating 'wormholes' with the Tardis or Tardis doors and running checks on the Tardis dimensions. I honestly don't think this is related, but I just want to cover all of the bases to make sure that everything is addressed and in case this could be involved.

Sorry for making you read all of that, I just am interested in seeing this strange issue resolved because I don't think you are the first person to have it happen.

Hi, I don't know if I'm going to be much help, but I have a few questions since I have a background in running Minecraft servers.

1. It was running arclight, wanted to run plugins along side the forge mods, helped quite a bit as long as I didn't have to restart the server
2. self hosted, using amp, I did cut off the log file, but the server was stopped using /stop
3. I stripped down the pack to just JSG/Tardis_Refined and the save/load worked fine on a "vanilla" forge server

Looks like there is just something with both Arclight and Ketting that is messing with the main console room being loaded. I created a tardis inside both of these, saved, loaded using "vanilla" forge and as far as I can tell, they loaded fine, loading in either Arclight or Ketting results in the above symptoms.

I suppose we could just say "arclight and ketting aren't supported" but I am hoping there is a fix that will allow loading to progress properly on either of these, the primary plugin I am attempting to use is CMI, having access to some of those tools makes things a touch easier when something goes wrong.

I see, I'm glad that we narrowed down the issue!
I also would honestly like to see loaders like Arclight be given support for the mod as being able to load both mods and plugins seems incredibly useful, and I might even want to try that myself in the future!

I have the same problem on the forge server.
I figured out that "destroying" chunks goes by this pattern:
first replaces door chunk (0 -1)
then chunk (-1 -1)
then (0 0)

after server reboot, if check folder world/dimensions/tardisrefined/(name of tardis)/region
last updated regions were was this chunks were updated by reboot date. But server logs doesn`t write anything strange, just save in stopping, and load on starting. 0 ERRORS.
I do some experiments and figured out that first regenerates chunk with door.
