Worth noting that that is a non-existent directory, and I"m guessing it's hardcoded in the dll. I could make mods and such to the file or directories. Please advise.

Also, is there a non-discord place to get information? I had an account that they magically deleted and now there is a phone number requirement to sign up for an account, which is obviously going into spy agency databases that Microsoft works with, so I'm not going to make an account there if I can help it.

Interesting, that didn't happen to me. You may try (re)installing the Visual C++ redistributable:

I'm not sure which one you need, it won't hurt having both installed.

Thanks comment #103 worked for me on the latest install. I am kind of a noob with this tool. How do I actually use it with ps4 controllers? Do I need DS4Windows? I see the AlphaRing toolbar with things to select but none of them seem to add another splitscreen profile in the side. I think the software is working since I didn't see any errors, but I don't know what to do next.

Why aren't these "changes" committed to this repo, or someone's personal branch. I'm not running some fucking DLL from some rando on some gooning Discord server, nor am I running some DLL from some random github account with 0 projects and only one commit to a repo that's literally the DLL he's trying to get people to run, this is beyond suspicious.

So, all you have to do to get dev to not crash is put Sleep(1000); in front of d3d11_manager()->initialize() in mcc_manager.cpp. However, that just gets it to stop crashing, I'm looking into updating the offsets.

The latest version still works on Linux FYI. It used to work on Linux like how it did on Windows, which was just dropping the DLL in the right place. As we know, that broke.

However, you can still drop the latest DLL in the same place on Linux/Steam Deck and just add the steam override command to the game found here: https://github.com/gliderman/AlphaRing

The overlay and mod work as they should on Linux, at least for me.

Please share the compiled files, trying to compile is such a pain in the ass especially without much guidance on how to do so. Who knew it would be so difficult just to try to get Halo splitscreen coop working on PC, that someone has to put a fix in and compile it themselves?
