Allow lower low battery notifications

5% was chosen because every device I have (Tunda, Vive Trackers, Vive Ultra Trackers, Index Controllers, and Vive Wands) all turn off automatically at around 5% +-2%. 5 was the average.

If you set it to 1%, your device would likely die before it ever sent the notification.

Controllers that use replaceable batteries can easily go to 1%, especially on NiMh batteries.

I would also like to request an option to disable (or temporarily snooze?) the warning entirely.

There are times where I know the tracker or controller is going to die, and not charging it wouldn't be the end of the world (laying down watching a movie for example). In those circumstances, the only way I have of making the warning stop appearing several times per minute is to close XSO.

I also tried to set LowBatteryWarningPercent in the overlaySettings.json to 0, but the warnings kept appearing for my about-to-die SlimeVR tracker while it was reporting 0%. I haven't yet tried -1.

SlimeVR Trackers can report 0% for a long period of time before shutting down, as they can use much less sophisticated battery level monitoring (just a resistive voltage divider into the ADC). And this is not limited to DIY'd Slimes, as the official SlimeVR trackers operate using the same simple method.

The bigger thing here is that it shouldn't be triggering notifications more than once per crossing of the threshold.

IE, the intended functionality is for it to reach 10% or whatever, fire the notification for that device, and then not fire it again unless the device is first charged above 10%.

If it's spamming notifications, that is wholly unintentional and I'll look into that.

I see. During the last few months of me using XSO, the notification spamming behavior has been present, so I was not aware the intended behavior was to notify once and then dismiss until charged.

There was likely a regression when things moved over to UI3 as I redid some of the device management stuff on the backend when I did the UI for the wrist to facilitate making the UI a bit easier.

I assume it's probably ticking the notification each time the % changes, and I wouldn't have caught that since I never tested that specific case, silly me.

My controllers also don't personally report battery life since Meta / Oculus limitations are sadness, so I never ran into it when dogfooding.

There is a setting called Low Battery Sound under General/Misc, but I don't think that disables the visual popup.

I will add a setting either way, and I'm going to move the battery notification settings in general to the notification tab where they probably belonged in the first place lol.
