Hi RecoNIC team,
I'm currently working with the RecoNIC shell and had a question regarding its support for retransmissions in the event of packet drops. I understand from the implementation that hardware-based retry buffers are not currently supported. However, I was wondering if retransmissions are supported through any host-side mechanism (e.g., a retry buffer in host memory). If not currently supported, would integrating a hardware retry buffer be sufficient to enable reliable retransmissions?
Thanks in advance for your time and insight!
