docs/VERSIONING.md §5: /home/justavision/aytree (WSL) is working authority; C:\dev\aytree is a convenience checkout — sync or delete, never edit there.

Reality

Verified earlier: Windows tree can lag WSL (was 4 commits behind / different tip). Concurrent agents on both trees caused mid-turn branch confusion (missing tests, unexpected branch switches).

Exit

• Single source of truth documented in contributor path.
• Either automated sync note or Windows tree removed / marked read-only mirror.
• No feature work performed on C:\dev\aytree.
