Summer Game 2024 Tasks

Game Codes

• "Retire" codes from previous years (All previous codes, one time purge)
• Use in-house QR Code generator for game code signs (https://aadl.org/staff/qrcode)
• If code is part of a badge formula, show the badge name in the player game code confirmation message
• Add fields for catalog search codes to provide the expected search terms, warn if another code uses same search term
• Building codes should store # of TOTAL on the sign, new field

Badges

• Expose Badge formulas, including the "multiple of a ledger type" formula that could be used for A2CAF
• Make Formula field a text area and allow for whitespace in formula
• FIX: Badge completion message not sent when completing a badge via text message

Lawn Codes

• Add option to place pin exactly on the map when creating a Lawn Code
• Only notify player that Lawn Code is being reported after a certain number of reports (3?)
• Change Lawn Code report text to be "friendlier", change to config
• Lawn Codes will launch during second week of game (June 28)
• Add new layer for "business codes" to display on the map, format JSON to differentiate from Lawn Codes

Gameplay

• Read/Watch/Listen get points for first 10 items no matter when, "Bonus is limited to one per day after the first 10 items"
• Read/Watch/Listen allow to submit for today OR yesterday
• Read/Watch/Listen allow to choose player for multiple players
• Add link back to SG home page from Points-O-Matic
• Points for Checkout History, keep an eye on abuse

My Player

• Add "Show Reading Log" option for scorecard
• Expose more filters for ledger, including game term
• FIX: bug with merging players not resetting the "Active Player"

Prizes

• Prize labels for "skipped" products (T-shirts) will have text indicating those products will arrive later (text is configurable)
• Shop opens July 12

New Features

• Integrate Catalog Connections game?
• Mobile Interface, improve SG availability and actions for small screens
• Real Time visualization and stats of SG data
• New Points-O-Matic mode to replace Super Serializer
• Look at optimizing performance overall
