Field clumping in Triathalon results.

In results for Triathlons, and some other team events, multiple fields are grouped under the same heading column:

The current implementation of the system will choke on this, clumping the fields as one header / result item. What are the options for proceeding here?

One option would be to add a 'split' functionality to this page:

The user could select the 'clumped' column to be split, and this would result in the clumped column to be separated into multiple columns, splitting on white-space. The page would reload, with the clumped column now appearing as multiple split columns.
