Server.js has many APIs

I was reading server.js to find a way to separate Satellite module to enable an easy way to add and remove sats from the list and the map, and I realized that there are many APIs in this single file.
Is not possible to separate these different APIs (features) in specific files? I believe that this way will be much easier to modify or improve different modules/features.
