This is a general announcement as it has bit me in the behind twice now. We need to make sure that when adding maplayers or modules that if it does not work on the website version of openhclock, that it is disabled and hidden unless locally hosted. If this gets passed me. (And it has twice now) we crash the whole system with polling to something that errors out.

Same thing goes for any api calls. Remember that the website gets at least 9000 people per day with up to 4000 concurrent users. Calls to apis must be smart and efficient.
