Now Bar text visibility issue

On Android 16 Now Bar / Live Updates, the text is not readable.

Also, it would be really great if the Live Activity showed the remaining timer value instead of the static text like “Focus session in progress / paused

I've added some screenshots in #424 about how it looks on a Google Pixel and I've contacted Samsung about this issue. They seem to ignore the NotificationCompat#setUsesChronometer. Hopefully they will fix it in future versions of OneUI.
I'll consider adding a workaround so that the chronometer is updated on Samsung devices too.

Are you using some kind of styling on your device? I'm not using any special colors for the notification/Live Activity so this bug is on Samsung's plate.

@adrcotfas nope, everything is in the default style. However, Developer Options → Live notifications for all apps is enabled, because I think Samsung has disabled the Now Bar for external apps by default in One UI 8.

Anyway, it seems to be related to a half-baked Samsung feature hopefully it’ll be fixed in the next One UI update.

I think showing the timer instead of text in the focused panel is a better design.

@adrcotfas It seems like this issue only happens in light mode. Dark mode fixes the problem.
Also, https://github.com/nsh07/Tomato has the same issue
