We welcome new additions, changes, and the occasional (rare) deletion. My intention for the project is to keep as much historical information as possible, while being entirely open to new additions and changes within the culture and traditions of the hacker. Unless specifically relevant to hackish culture or tradition, references to politics or partisanship will be omitted and denied from the File (the intent is to provide a historical document about hacking, not to push a view of politics outside of hackish-related topics).
In order to submit your change, do the following:
- Open up a new issue. Thoroughly describe your change.
- The maintainer will review the request. The community may also vote on requests and the maintainer may ask for this from time to time.
- If the request is approved, fork the repository and make the relevant changes. Make a pull request. Edit your issue and link your pull request.
- The maintainer will verify your submission and merge it upstream.
