Surveyors and county staff need clear guidance on MRRC program requirements, monument preservation expectations, documentation standards, and deliverable submission procedures. Training improves consistency in county work, helps ensure compliance with contract requirements, and increases the quality and usability of submitted deliverables. This supports the MRRC objective to provide guidance and oversight for the use of grant funds.

Acceptance Criteria

• develop or update training materials for participating counties and surveyors
• communicate MRRC program requirements, eligible work, and deliverable expectations
• provide instruction on submission standards for monument records, supporting files, and required documentation
• answer county or contractor questions related to grant requirements and deliverables
• provide training or orientation at the start of each grant cycle or as needed
