• Utah League of Cities and Towns (ULCT): Zoning & Publicly Owned Land

  ### Zoning Several municipalities throughout the state lack basic zoning and land use maps, particularly GIS mapping, for their communities. As several initiatives look at how to best identify and optimize public assets, a lack of current GIS mapping has also proven to be a significant hurdle in understanding public assets statewide. UGRC will create GIS maps for communities in the state that lack the capacity to create them themselves in coordination with the Association of Governments (AOG's) and work with the Utah Association of Counties (UAC) to develop a uniform system of asset classification to provide access to this data statewide. ### Government-Owned land inventory support Compile a statewide online GIS database of all government-owned property parcels. Completion of this task is dependent on the availability of the necessary county data.
