Summary
Esri is migrating from concurrent use licenses to a named user, subscription-based model in the near future. As such, UGRC will no longer have a license manager at the end of FY26. By July 2026 (start of FY27), all users that are using licenses from UGRC's ArcGIS License Manager, will need to migrate to a named user account in order to continue using ArcGIS software (ArcGIS Pro, Desktop, etc.).
To ensure uninterrupted access to ArcGIS software beyond 1 July 2026, you will need to acquire your own named user license. We want to make sure users have ample time to plan for this transition, as your office may incur additional costs and need to include these ArcGIS licenses in your future budgets (FY27 and beyond). Please consider other users from your organizations that might also need named user licenses.
