<h2 class="major">About</h2>
<p>Welcome visitor! I am a postdoc at the University of Exeter. I recently received my PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics from UC Santa Cruz.
Before that, I was an undergraduate at UC Berkeley. I left sunny California to not-as-sunny Exeter, England to continue my research journey in understanding
planet formation and evolution. Specifically, I am interested in the late planet formation stage, where planets interact with debris disk material
(planetesimals, dust), which then causes planets to migrate and change the configuration of the system. I am working with Prof. Sebastian Marino to investigate
how various dynamical processes affect the overall structure of debris disks and the planetary system within.<br />
I will be updating all sections over time. I have added resources that helped me get to grad school (in USA). I hope they can be helpful for you! As a Latina immigrant to the US,
who struggled through university as a <a href="https://www.firstgenforward.org/" target="_blank"><b>first gen student</b></a>, I'd like for others with similar backgrounds to know they can also achieve great things against all odds.

I currently study the orbital dynamics and evolution of our
solar system via the Kuiper Belt. I'm also investigating how interactions between an inclined, eccentric planet and its debris disk affect the disk structure.
I am interested in all dynamics processes that shape and evolve planetary systems and debris disks.
