No entries for singleton English letters?

It seems that there no entries for single English letters in the lexicon.
When the transcription is "B座", after the word segmentation, it becomes "B 座". Then "B" becomes a UNK.
Should we add the pronunciations for A-Z? Or there are any considerations to exclude those words?

u r right, there are no English entries in DaCiDian, because it is a PinYin Initial-Final based lexicon, whereas English lexicons are normally based on phonemes, there is not a simple and precise mapping between each other.

To solve the problem, you just need a larger phoneset(e.g. union set) that covers both PinYin and English phonemes, and then extend DaCiDian with English entries. You may also refer to project such as BigCiDian
