Reddit will soon enforce some changes on their API :

Will it have an effect on the way the bot retrieves subreddits and comments ?

Yep this part is concerning... script isn't using OAuth so might be limited to 10 queries a minute..

different rate limits for the free access tier:

• If you are using OAuth for authentication: 100 queries per minute per OAuth client id
• If you are not using OAuth for authentication: 10 queries per minute
